TESDA RTC CENTRAL LUZON- GUGUINTO HOST SUCCESSFUL FOURTH QUARDTERLY TAC MEETING, APPROVES KEY INITIATIVES FOR

The TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto and TTI Advisory Council (TAC), successfully convened their fourth quarterly meeting on November 29, 2024, at Mesa Alta Resto and Events in Malolos City, Bulacan.
The TAC meeting, chaired by Ms. Cristina Tuzon, TAC Chairman, was attended by key members including Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez, Center Chief of Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto; Ms. Lota Yasa, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bulacan; Ms. Rose Anne Bautista, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Bulacan; Mr. Eric Lim, Autokid Subic Trading Corporation; Mr. Edgardo Santiago, President of Bulacan Association of Technical and Vocational School (BATVS); Ms. Victoria Sison, Bulacan Polytechnic College; Mr. Gabriel Angelo Pascual, Bulacan State University; Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra, TAC Secretariat; and Mr. Roderick Alcantara, RTCCL-Guiguinto Partnership Focal.
Also present at the meeting, TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director Melanie Grace Romero and Ms. Jenica King from Big Ben Group who brought significant contributions by sharing valuable insights and constructive feedback. Their inputs highlighted the critical need to align training programs with area-specific and demand-driven skills to address industry requirements effectively. PD Romero emphasized the pivotal role of Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in developing a highly skilled workforce, which is essential for driving economic growth and supporting industrial advancement.
Key accomplishments of RTCCL-Guiguinto as of November 2024 were presented, including physical accomplishments, successful partnerships, enhanced training programs, and employability rates among graduates. The presentation also provided a brief overview of ongoing technology research in Dressmaking NC II and innovative projects by Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC IV graduates, particularly in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) automation, underscoring the center's commitment to fostering innovation and advancing technical expertise.
A major highlight of the meeting was the approval of the 2025 TTI Advisory Council Annual Work Plan, which outlines strategic goals and initiatives for the upcoming year. Furthermore, Ms. Cristina Tuzon and the TAC members approved Resolution No. 07, series of 2024, for the registration of the Mechatronics Servicing NC II program, addressing a critical industry demand in the manufacturing sector.
The fourth-quarter TAC meeting underscores RTCCL-Guiguinto's commitment to adapting its training offerings to meet the evolving needs of industries, promoting employability and supporting economic growth through TVET.
