Around 140 scholars actively participated in the 2024 Trainees' Week organized by the Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto headed by its Center Chief Rheo Henry Rodriguez last April 22-29, 2024.
The program started with an Opening Ceremony led by Mr. Rodriguez who gave an inspirational message to the scholars. This was followed by symbolic Torch Lighting ceremony signifying the official start of the activities, followed by a heartfelt oath of sportsmanship, emphasizing the values of fair play and camaraderie.
The weeklong activities highlighted the Institutional Skills Competition, Sportsfest, Career Guidance and Job Induction Program, Basic First Aid Seminar, Anti-Sexual Harassment Seminar, Importance of Mental Health Seminar, Values Formation sessions, and Boodle Fight.
To recognize the scholars contribution to the success of the program, they were awarded Certificates of Appreciation, as well as medals and trophies during its closing program last April 29, 2024.
This annual event aims to enhance trainees' knowledge, professional development, collaboration and teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking, health and safety awareness, and resource management, aligning with TESDA's approach to skills development, ensuring that trainees are well-prepared for their careers.
Under the dynamic leadership of Center Chief Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez, RTCCL-Guiguinto orchestrated an exhilarating Trainee’s Week, a cornerstone of its annual calendar of events, spanning from April 22 to April 29, 2024.
The festivities commenced with a stirring address from Mr. Rodriguez, setting the tone for the week's activities. A symbolic Torch Lighting ceremony marked the official inauguration, followed by a heartfelt oath of sportsmanship, emphasizing the values of fair play and camaraderie.
Throughout the vibrant week, RTCCL curated a diverse array of activities, including a Job Induction Program, Sportsfest, Institutional Skills Competition, and enlightening seminars covering Basic First Aid, Anti-Sexual Harassment, and Mental Health awareness. Additionally, Values Formation sessions enriched participants' personal and professional development, culminating in a jubilant Boodle Fight.
At the heart of RTCCL’s Trainee’s Week was the thrilling Sportsfest, where trainees passionately competed in basketball, badminton, chess, dama, dart, and mobile legend tournaments. These spirited contests not only cultivated teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship but also fostered unity among trainees from various backgrounds.
Complementing the athletic events, the Institutional Skills Competition provided a stage for trainees to showcase their technical acumen in disciplines such as automotive, driving, dressmaking, electrical installation and maintenance, and welding, garnering recognition for their proficiency.
The seminars conducted during Trainee’s Week played a pivotal role, offering invaluable insights into career development and personal growth, enhancing the overall learning experience.

During this ceremony, participants were honored with Certificates of Appreciation, medals, and trophies, symbolizing gratitude for their unwavering commitment and outstanding achievements.
