STEP Scholars in Baliuag Ready for Business with TESDA Training and Toolkits

On March 21, 2024, total of 44 scholars of Process Food by Fermentation and Pickling (leading to Food Processing NC II) under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP), sponsored by the Congressional Office of the 2nd District of Bulacan participated in the Graduation Ceremony and Distribution of Starter Toolkits in Baliuag, Bulacan.
The event was attended by TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto Center Chief Rheo Henry Rodriguez, Honorable Congresswoman Augustina Dominique “Ditse Tina” Pancho of 2nd District of Bulacan and Local Government Units' representatives, PESO Managers Ms. Alma Lucas and Ms. Jennelyn Marcelo on behalf of Plaridel and Baliuag Municipal Mayors, respectively.
The graduates received their training certificates, starter toolkits and training allowance. They expressed gratitude for the free skills training and toolkits they received, and they are all excited to use their newfound skills to start on their own businesses.
Training Instruction Supervisor Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra also attended the event along with trainers Mr. Roderick Alcantara and Ms. Lea Ocampo.
