TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto Launches Skills Upgrading Program for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC IV with 100% Certification Success

On April 1, 2024, the Skills Upgrading Program for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC IV commenced at the Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto in Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan. The opening program was led by the Center Chief of RTCCL-Guiguinto, Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez with a welcome message and emphasized the importance of the training program in the region.
During the training, TESDA III Regional Director, Toni June Tamayo visited to show his support to the participants, giving his words of encouragement and commendation for actively participating in the program and reiterating the significance of the training program.
The program is a series of 5-day training and a 2-day National Competency Assessment. It aims to capacitate and upskill the trainers to increase readiness in offering higher level TVET, particularly focusing on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Systems and design and the development of 3D simulators for training. It was participated by thirteen (13) Electrical Trainers of TESDA Technology Institution in Central Luzon and facilitated by Mr. Lawrence Ramos, TESD Specialist II of PTC-Calumpit, and Mr. Marvin Sebastian, Senior TESD Specialist of RTCCL-Guiguinto.
The training concluded on April 5, 2024, with Mr. Rodriguez leading the awarding of Certificates of Training to mark the program's completion.
Subsequently, on April 6-7, 2024 the 13 participants underwent the National Competency Assessment for Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC IV as part of the program, achieving a 100% certification rate.
