On August 15, 2025, TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto headed by Center Chief Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez, joined the 18th Founding Anniversary celebration of the Philippine Coast Guard Fleet held at the Fleet Training Center of Excellence in Balagtas, Bulacan with the theme “Sailing Strong at 18: Forging Future-Ready Guardians of the Sea.”
As part of the anniversary highlights, RTCCL-Guiguinto was recognized for its unwavering partnership and support to the Philippine Coast Guard Fleet. Mr. Rodriguez proudly received a Plaque of Appreciation on behalf of the center, presented by VADM Edgar L. Ybañez PCG, Deputy Commandant for Operations, Philippine Coast Guard and RADM Rommel A. Supangan PCG, Commander, Coast Guard Fleet. The recognition underscored the center’s contributions to enhancing the fleet’s operational capabilities and strengthening mission preparedness.
Also representing RTCCL-Guiguinto were Mr. Roderick SM. Alcantara, TESD Specialist II and Partnership and Linkages Focal, and Ms. Laarni B. Esplana, Administrative Aide VI, who joined in celebrating this milestone event.
This recognition reaffirms RTCCL-Guiguinto’s vital role in advancing technical education and training, in support of the Coast Guard Fleet’s mission of developing future-ready, world-class guardians of the sea. It further highlights the strong partnership between TESDA and the Philippine Coast Guard, anchored on a shared commitment to skills development, maritime safety, and public service through collaborative initiatives.
