RTCCL-Guiguinto Strengthens Industry Linkages During Successful 2nd Quarterly TAC Meeting

TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon-Guiguinto and TTI Advisory Council (TAC), successfully convened their second quarterly meeting on May 20, 2025, at the North Polo Club in Pulilan, Bulacan.
Presided over by TAC Chairman Ms. Cristina Tuzon, the meeting was attended by esteemed council members including RTCCL-Guiguinto Center Chief Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez ; OIC-Provincial Director Maria Cristina Valenzuela and Ms. Lota Yasa of the Department of Trade and Industry Bulacan; Ms. Rose Anne Bautista of the Department of Science and Technology Bulacan; Ms. Victoria Sison of Bulacan Polytechnic College; Mr. Marlon Leyesa of Bulacan State University; Mr. Benjamin M. Eusebio of Big Ben Builders Development and Realty Corporation; Mr. Edgardo Santiago, President of the Bulacan Association of Technical and Vocational Schools; Ms. Laarni Esplana, Assistant TAC Secretariat and Mr. Roderick Alcantara, RTCCL-Guiguinto Partnership Focal.
Mr. Rodriguez presented the center’s accomplishments, highlighting significant developments such as the physical accomplishments, updates on the registration of new training programs and the accreditation as assessment center for new qualifications, and the implementation status of previously approved TAC resolutions.
A key item on the agenda was the discussion of the Implementing Rules and Regulations for the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program. The council underscored the program's pivotal role in equipping trainees with job-ready skills and supporting regional economic development. The meeting also included a review of the skills needs within the service and repair sector, particularly in areas such as Automotive Servicing, Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing, Mobile Air-Conditioning Servicing, and Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Servicing.
One of the meeting’s significant outcomes was the approval of Resolution No. 04, s. 2025, RTCCL-Guiguinto’s Registration of Driving (Bus/Straight Truck) NC III in partnership with Big Ben Builders Development and Realty Corporation. This initiative underscores the center’s commitment to responsive and demand-driven skills development in the transportation and construction sector.
Also present were Prof. Christine Irish Castillo and Ms. Areli C. Yerro from the Korea-Philippines Information Technology Training Center Bulacan; Ms. Karen Salita, TESD Specialist II and Ms. Jewel Joyce Nocus, TESD Specialist I of RTCCL-Guiguinto and Mr. John Aloisius Mendez, HR Head of Big Ben Builders.
The successful conduct of the second quarterly meeting reaffirms RTCCL-Guiguinto’s unwavering dedication to fostering industry-aligned training programs. By staying attuned to labor market trends and stakeholder feedback, the center continues to ensure the relevance of its programs, enhance graduate employability, and contribute meaningfully to regional workforce development and economic growth.
