Building Futures: TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto and Marilao LGU Strengthen Ties for Jobs and Skills Development

On August 18, 2025, the TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto, in collaboration with the Local Government of Marilao, Bulacan, formally renewed their Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) through a ceremonial signing held at the Municipal Atrium, Marilao Municipal Hall.

         The agreement was officially signed by Hon. Jemina M. Sy, Municipal Mayor of Marilao and Dir. Baron Jose L. Lagran, TESDA III Regional Director, witnessed by Mr. Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez, Center Chief of RTCCL-Guiguinto and Ms. Miriam V. Balboa, PESO Manager of Marilao.

         The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Mr. Neil G. Santioque, Acting Provincial Director of TESDA Bulacan, Vice Mayor Ariel Amador, and members of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan, reflecting the strong partnership and shared commitment of both TESDA and the local government.

In line with the MOA renewal, the launching of the initiative “Job for Skilled Marilenyo and Produktong Sariling Atin, Linang Kasanayan sa Barangay” was also highlighted. This program underscores the shared commitment of RTCCL-Guiguinto and the Municipality of Marilao to promote skills development, provide meaningful employment opportunities, and support local enterprises.

This renewed agreement marks a significant milestone in strengthening institutional partnerships, fostering collaboration, and advancing common goals between TESDA and the LGU of Marilao.

The initiative also aims to provide Marileños with quality employment opportunities and sustainable sources of livelihood upon completing their training, while also empowering them to take an active role in the continuous growth and development of their community.
