TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto headed by Center Chief Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez, formally established a partnership with STO Global Fast Express (Philippines) Group Corporation through the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Deed of Donation held on July 20, 2025 at Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
The milestone event, held in conjunction with the official opening of STO Global Fast Express new warehouse in Meycauayan City, was graced by top officials from TESDA, including Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez, Deputy Directors General Vidal D. Villanueva and Atty. Avelino D. Tolentino III, TESDA III Regional Director Baron Jose L. Lagran, and TESDA Bulacan Acting Provincial Director Neil G. Santioque. Representing STO Global Fast Express was Technical Manager Dr. Vivian Zhang.
This partnership underscores a shared commitment to enhancing technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the region. As part of the agreement, the company pledged to support the implementation of the Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) program for trainees under the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC III qualification. This initiative will provide trainees with valuable hands-on industry experience, bridging the gap between classroom training and actual workplace.
In further support for the center’s development and sustainability efforts, STO Global Fast Express also donated two (2) electric bikes to RTCCL-Guiguinto.
With this newly forged partnership, TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto reaffirms its commitment to producing highly competent and job-ready graduates who can contribute to inclusive growth and national development—made possible through the continued support of dynamic industry partners like STO Global Fast Express (Philippine) Group Corporation.
