RTCCL-Guiguinto under the leadership of Center Chief Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez organized a dynamic Trainee’s Week as part of its annual calendar of activities, held from July 8-11, 2025.
The program commenced with an inspirational message delivered by Mr. Rheo Henry M. Rodriguez. This was followed by symbolic Torch Lighting ceremony signifying the official start of the activities and concluded with the solemn oath of sportsmanship, underscoring the spirit of fair play and camaraderie.
A series of exciting and meaningful activities unfolded throughout the week, including a Sportsfest, Institutional Skills Competition, Singing Contest, Zumba sessions, and a variety of informative seminars. Topics included Financial Literacy, Career Guidance, Anti-Bullying, Drug Awareness and Prevention, Reproductive Health, and Responsible Parenthood, culminating in a fun and festive Boodle Fight.
A vital component of RTCCL’s Trainee’s Week is the exciting Sportsfest, where trainees fervently competed in basketball and mobile legend competition. These spirited competitions not only promoted teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship but also fostered camaraderie among trainees across different qualifications.
Meanwhile, the Institutional Skills Competition provided trainees with a platform to showcase their technical excellence in areas such as Automotive Servicing, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, and Welding offered trainees a real-world opportunity to demonstrate their skills and gain recognition for their technical proficiency.
The seminars conducted played a pivotal role in the Trainee’s Week, offering invaluable insights into career development, financial literacy, health awareness and personal growth, thereby enriching the overall learning experience for the participants.
In addition to the seminars, trainees, along with their trainers and RTCCL-Guiguinto personnel, actively took part in creative wellness activities such as Zumba sessions. These energizing workouts not only promoted physical well-being but also created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, strengthening camaraderie among participants.
To formally wrap up the Trainees' Week, a closing program was held, serving as a moment of recognition and celebration for the trainees' hard work and contributions to the program's success. During the closing ceremony held on July 11, 2025 the winners were given certificates and tokens as appreciation for their dedication and achievements.
Overall, the Trainees Week was a resounding success, marked by active engagement, meaningful learning experiences, and strengthened camaraderie among trainees. The event not only highlighted important social and health issues but also promoted a balanced approach to personal development through recreational and competitive activities. The RTCCL remains committed to providing such holistic programs that prepare trainees for responsible citizenship and lifelong learning.
