TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon - Guiguinto, under the leadership of Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez had a meeting with SJO4 Dennis Gabon, Chief, Welfare and Development Section of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Meycauayan held last January 25, 2024 at Meycauayan City, Bulacan.

          The meeting was an initiative of the center for the conduct of different training programs for approximately 100 Person Deprived of Liberties (PDL) in the City Jail. The objective of the training is to make productive use of the idle time of PDL individuals while awaiting final judgment by engaging them in constructive activities and providing them with knowledge and skills through various livelihood training programs.

          The initial training that will be provided is Basic Bread Making and will continue with additional trainings in the future. Both parties are committed in providing prisoners with skills training and education to facilitate their successful reintegration into society upon release.

          Also in attendance are Mr. Jeffrey Guevarra, Supervising TESD Specialist, Mr. Roderick Alcantara, Partnership and Linkages/ Community-Based Training (CBT) Focal and Ms. Rosana L. Recio, CBT Trainer.
