TESDA RTCCL - GUIGUINTO AND BIG BEN BUILDERS MEEING FOR POTENTIAL PARTNERSHIP

          On March 12, 2025, TESDA Regional Training Center Central Luzon – Guiguinto under the leadership of Center Chief Mr. Rheo Henry Rodriguez, held a strategic meeting with Big Ben Builders Development & Realty Corp., represented by its Director, Mr. Benjamin Eusebio to discuss several key initiatives and potential collaborations.

          A primary concern raised by Big Ben Builders was the shortage of skilled truck drivers despite its large fleet, emphasizing the need for upskilling workers to enhance operational efficiency and safety. A significant result of the discussion was the proposed partnership between TESDA RTCCL-Guiguinto and Big Ben Builders to facilitate the registration of the center for the Driving (Passenger Bus/Straight Truck) NC III program. 

          To further align training programs with industry needs, a site visit was conducted to Big Ben’s operational facilities, including its manufacturing site, motor pool, industrial area, corporate office, and its farm. This visit further strengthened the understanding of Big Ben’s operational needs and reinforced the shared commitment to establishing a strong and productive partnership.

          Recognizing the long-term benefits of this collaboration, both parties agreed to formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement. Also in attendance were Ms. Karen Salita, TESD Specialist II; Ms. Laarni Esplana, Administrative Aide VI and Mr. John Aloisius Mendez, HR Head of Big Ben Builders.

          With this initiative, RTCCL-Guiguinto reaffirms its dedication to workforce development and employment generation under the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) framework. Through demand-driven skills development, this partnership aims to bridge the skills gap, boost employability, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the transportation and construction sectors.
